Bliss
What is bliss? For Mylo, bliss is finding a hidden ball under the couch. It is getting a treat for no reason. It is getting so many pets that he just might explode. It is playing with Toady. It is when Manbeast gets home from work. It is sneaking licks out of the dirty dishwasher. It is rolling in the lawn. It is sleeping by my feet. It is simple. It is easy to find. It is enjoying every good thing that comes his way without wanting anything more. It is what comes with living the life you have now. It is forgetting the bad and relishing the good.
It is sleeping in a giant pile of your toys while the A/C is running.
This, right here, is bliss.

What would our life be like without them? I just can’t imagine it.
Harry (my westie) has a favorite toy that he has had since he was a baby. He’s 7 now. If I wash it he gets upset and spends a lot of time licking it to get it smelling right again. 🙂
I wouldn’t want to find out what life would be like without pets. They give so much and ask for so little. That’s funny that Harry has a favorite. Toady has a favorite too, but Mylo just likes everything.
what a great list: sleeping with toys in an air-conditioned room and pre-licking the dishes in the dishwasher are on the top of my dog Baffi’s list too! Great post and adorable dog 🙂

Thankfully yes. It has been over 30c here lately and that makes everyone melt.
Same here! And we don’t have ac, not to mention we’re stuck in the middle of an apartment complex, the heat just doesn’t want to leave, 😦
Oh gross, I feel for you! Since Toady has an arctic coat he gets hot really easily. I think we have to have A/C or he would go into a heat coma. I would share mine with you if I could!
Lucky, lucky! And yea, the heat was really uncomfortable and heavy this weekend. both me and the cats didn’t know where and what to do with all the heat. We do have a fan, but it’s not everything, haha. I did made the cats wet at the end of the afternoon to let them cool down a bit. 🙂
I always get ridiculously worried when my puppy licks inside the dishwasher. I’m shooing him away, freaking out, thinking he’s accidentally licked up dishwasher soap. Lucky just looks at me like I’ve lost my marbles.
Hahaha, too funny. Mine get in there when I am getting ready to start it, so I usually haven’t got the soap in it yet. It’s one of their favorite games.
