Our Pack
Me: I am a pet-owner, wife, friend, writer, reader, and video game player. I work from home as a Publishing and Communications Consultant, Social Media Marketing Coordinator, and Website Administrator partly because I like the work and partly because I prefer solitude to people. I am a huge nerd and spend the majority of my time proving it. My dogs are my main source of daily entertainment, and being a writer, I have to record their more memorable happenings.
Manbeast: My hubs and also the main source of play for the animals. He feeds them, wrestles with them, and keeps me from going insane. Without him, all of our lives would be far less awesome than they are now.
Mylo: The first puppy of our pack. He is a Golden Retriever that behaves nothing like he is supposed to. He enjoys watching TV, playing with our cat, and eating anything in his sight. He has guts of steel.
Toady (aka Koda): The second pup in our pack. He is a monster (120 pounds) but acts like a kitten. He enjoys playing fetch (aka you throw the ball and I won’t give it back), helping me to get through hard levels in games, and trying to eat insects.
Odin: Our cat. The third animal introduced into our pack. He can also be described as a furry ninja-ball of fury. He enjoys chewing on corners (any corners), howling, and destroying things (mostly valuable things).
We live in Alberta, Canada, although I grew up in Nova Scotia and miss it sorely. I think of my pets as my buddies, but not as my kids. We have a good life and enjoy almost everything eventually.
Please keep in mind that not all dogs exhibit the same behavior. This blog is simply a personal account of my pets.

You have awards fostricken should you choose to accept them. Please see my most recent blog post.
Thank you kindly for the nomination! I have decided to have an award free blog for now because of time constraints, although I do appreciate the thought!
Yes, I can see your point. Once I started I thought “this cold take up a lot of time!”. I will continue to follow your adventures though.
Thank you! I appreciate that. It definitely isn’t about me not being gracious for the award, but I just don’t have the time to make separate posts for them right now.
Hi to a fellow Canuck! Looking forward to hearing about your Rocky Mtn. adventures with the pups.
p.s. If you miss the ocean you’re not far from the West Coast, come check it out.
Hello! I don’t see many Canadian blogs on here, not yet anyway, so it’s good to “meet” you. I have always wanted to go to BC, but it just hasn’t happened yet. I think my husband is afraid that I wouldn’t come back, hahaha.
LOL, he’s right. A fellow blogger from California when visiting here last summer wrote “B.C. = Bring Cash”! Love that!
Hope you stay in touch, we Cdn’s. are a scarce bunch.
Will do! 🙂
