  1. I love the pictures of your animals. We have two dogs,Millie is our 10 year old Golden Retriever and Oceana a beagle-terrier who is 9.Thank you for this wonderful site and keep up the great work!

  2. It’s nice to meet you! Seems like we have a bit in common as far as how we like to live our lives – hermit-ish with lots of furballs around. Looking forward to more of your posts and pics.

  3. Glad you liked the blog posting about pet friendly places to stay. Hope it was helpful for you and your readers. Today’s post is about Kimpton Hotels (http://wp.me/p2D3SQ-4D), another great place to stay with your pet and/or your kids. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again. 🙂

      • He looks like a Finnish Border Collie to me – but I am usually wrong. That $69 DNA test tells you more. I believe that ‘mutts’ are at least 10 possible breds all at once: 2 sires (2), each with 2 sires (that’s 6), who had 2 sires (that’s 10). – What bred is popular in Canada that he looks like?

      • Whenever we think we have found his breed, his size causes doubts. He is 120 pounds. We have thought about the DNA test, but they’re so vague. When we adopted him they said Husky X, but he’s just so big! And spotty! So far, we haven’t found a Canadian breed that fits him.

      • Ah…what a great idea. This world of blog awards is rather more complex that I first though 🙂 Being somewhat of a newbie its great to see how others respond to these…lots of food for thought…and yes having done one now it seems like a lot of unecessary work! So I love your idea.

      • I agree, there is much more to blogging than I ever thought. I know a few others who do something similar with awards. I can barely find the time to post once a week regularly, I just haven’t got the time to do extra posts. Thanks for understanding! 🙂

  4. I can tell by the Marking Territory post that we have much in common! Thanks for visiting Gardens for Goldens. I will happily follow along with you as well!

  5. I wanted to let you know I nominated you for a “Liebster Blog Award”. It’s mainly an opportunity to network with other bloggers that may not have seen your blog and put forward blogs that you like and find new blogs to enjoy. It does take some time and I completely understand if you decide you don’t want to do this. But I enjoy your blog and think others will, too. If you decide to do this, here is a shortlink http://shoefulofdrool.com/. I look forward to seeing you!

    • Thanks! I feel honored and very much appreciate it! I don’t have the time to complete reward requirements, but I have created a page to thank everyone who has nominated me: https://fostrickson.wordpress.com/thanks-to/. I’ve included you on the page and hope that it conveys my appreciation. I’m glad that you enjoy my posts and hope that you continue to do so! Congrats on the award, you deserve it. 🙂
